Seeing this venue from the side of the road takes your breath away. It even has a balcony, perfect for wedding photos of the Bride and Groom, over the front porch. You can even sprinkle the bridesmaids and groomsmen on the porch and have everyone smiling at the camera. What a beautiful photo to capture here.

One of the first things that grabbed my attention was this brick wall. Maybe I have a photographer’s eye but the textures from the iron gate, the brick and the driveway make a wonderful mixture for couple photos outside. One of my favorite photos to capture of the Bride and Groom is them walking away from me and the Bride turning around to look at me. How pretty would that shot look right here? Any guesses to what could be on the other side of the wall? Well, a waterfall, of course!

One thing gaining popularity at venues are tree swings. This is one of the prettiest tree swings I’ve seen. You almost feel lost in a forest of flowers with all the flower bushes around. The colors surrounding this swing would compliment any couple posing for photos here.

These two trees would serve as the perfect backdrops for different reasons. If I were doing family formals, in the daylight, for a large family, I would pose them under the pink tree to the left. The tree to the right side would be perfect for Bride and Groom photos. I’d place the couple right in the middle of the greenery hanging down and I would pose the Bride and Groom to look like they are embraced in an intimate conversation with soft smiles and kisses to the Bride’s forehead and maneuver my camera at the perfect angle to look like I was spying on them in a private, romantic moment.

This gazebo was the first ceremony spot I noticed when I walked onto the venue. It’s the perfect size for ten to fifteen guests. The simplicity of the curtains and strung lights inside, give me caribbean vibes as this could be a cute beachside hut. Maybe I’ve read too many romance books.

This bridge would be my go to spot for the Bride and Groom’s first look or even a first look for the Bride and her dad. I could even do groomsmen photos closer to the bridge for a completely different look. I love changing the scene when taking photos of different groups of people, so I am just in awe of this venue.

This is the largest area they have for a regular size wedding crowd. I can only imagine how beautiful this would be full of people and the lights shining. If it happens to rain on your wedding day, the venue could easily move a party of this size into their main dining room and it would still be beautiful.

My next blog will be the vow renewal I photographed, here, last month. The couple said their vows on the back porch. I don’t have any photos of that area, without them gathered around but if you check back next week you’ll see that area in all of its glory.

If you’re local to Atlanta, Georgia and you like what you see, I invite you to try my services. I’d love to serve you and meet your family. Here is the link for future mini sessions.
